Review of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008) by Roshan C — 03 May 2011
The same thing round again except this time in China rather than Egypt. A disappointing third installment that is empty of the considerable enjoyment factor of the first two films. Brendan Fraser seems to have lost his incredible entertainment level whipping up all the lazy unfunny humour you could possibly think of while Maria Bello fails to create the distinct slickness that Rachel Weisz managed to bring to the screen so unbelievably well.
The talents of great actors like Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh are wasted in this laboured sequel.
