Review of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008) by David P — 03 Jun 2015
The first thing that went wrong is not bringing back Rachel Weisz, though she likely knew to avoid this wild mess. It's not necessarily the mythology that went wrong, but the storyline and characters are more annoying than anything else.
Such a shame, the first two were a lot of fun. Yes, I enjoyed the second film. I miss the original mummy (i.e. Arnold Vosloo) involved. Plus the jokes are flat and bad most of the time, and Brendan Fraser is the only decent actor in this (at best).
