Review of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008) by John M — 17 Nov 2010
I am a big fan of Mummy and here it is another mummy adventure sequel, situated in China where many mysteries have been held for long time. But somehow, it didnt hold my attention much, nothing new, nothing original, feels like same old thing from previous sequels just different location.
Again, only special dagger can kill the mummy, hmm....i am pretty sure there are many other ways to come with as new idea. And snow yeti beasts, weird. Everything went to quick. And son Alex is suddenly big boy from college, and parents still looking young.
I think this mummy would be better of staying dead. It was so much unused potential, like general was brought from dead, could reunite with witch or see his daughter, for example. Poor attempt of humour also.
But, overall, easy going adventure and enjoyable but was expecting more.
