Review of The Mummy Returns (2001) by Duncan L — 25 May 2011
The sequel to the hit original, The Mummy Returns has the same kind of adventure and magic with also the first appearance of Dwayne Johnson as The Scorpion King. While everything is what it seems, The Mummy Returns add a little more fun with an expanded story of the first.
As the plot goes, this works to some extend but did not surpass the original. Still, the movie is still fun and exciting to watch. Enjoyable for fans that loved the 1999 movie version.
