Sacrifices the suspense and novelty of the first film with bigger set-pieces and plenty of CGI-leaden action. But I actually enjoy this sequel a bit more; the lead performances are once again very good but it's the chemistry between them that's greatly improved while the plot is engaging and action-packed! Guilty pleasure escapism!!
