Review of The Mummy Returns (2001) by Gee P — 22 Jan 2011
It's not often that I like a sequel just as much as the original- in fact, I often hate them. Not so with this movie. I like it just as much, maybe even more, than the first movie. The action is great, the elements of humor and quasi-suspense lend nicely to the overall feel of the movie, and the actors do their jobs well.
I wish Brendan Fraser could find himself in more roles like this one, because it's what he does best.
