Sometimes I think movie critics just feed off of each other when a few top critics say it's awful. I myself almost always base those reviews on whether or not I decide to watch a movie. But not in this case.

I'm such a big fan of the previous mummy movies, and also Tom Cruise himself, that I chose to ignore the critic reviews and watch it for myself. And boy I'm glad I did! I love the fact that they put in humor is one liners, and mixed in Tom Cruise with it, because I absolutely find him funny! I'm so glad that was not a copycat of the previous mummy movies, but instead had its own story long, and showed a darker side.

I thought all of the characters played well, and the storyline to me it was entertaining and fun. So I definitely give it a big thumbs up and ignore what the critics are saying! Pay attention to the details of the movie, and the enjoyment will take care of itself!! Grade A.
