I really don't think this movie deserves the hate it has gotten. I actually thought it was entertaining. I acknowledge it has flaws, and it is really your typical Tom Cruise movie, for better or worse.

However, there were a lot of well-executed action sequences like on the plane. I also thought it was visually impressive. This movies big problem is it focuses too much on setting up the idea of a dark universe that sometimes it forgets to be its own thing.

Rushing into a cinematic universe has never been a good idea. The DCEUhas learned this the hard way. Outside of this major flaw, it is quite entertaining.
