I believe that this movie was a let down to the franchise. I believe that they should have left the series as it was. It is very hard to top Brendan Fraser, and I think Tom Hanks did not suit the role.
The story line was twisted and to serious. It was missing the humor and charm from every other Mummy movie. Also, did anyone else notice that they are trying to make it into a 'Dark universe'?? I'm very disappointed that they are trying to make such an amazing and fun franchise into a 'hero' series.
