I think it's a shame that this movie is rated so poorly. It's actually very entertaining!! However, before my husband and I saw it, we thought it would be totally lame due to the trailer/pre-advertisement.
The ads are very misleading!! I don't know why, but they make the movie look really terrible. Tom Cruise played the role well and it's a fun movie. We're somewhat picky about our movie and it's a good one! Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.
My guess is that in a few years, it will grow on people and be popular.
