Review of The Mummy (2017) by Dan K — 09 Jan 2018
There aren't many movies that have me clamoring for a refund, but this one did. I have enjoyed the other mummy movies; they were a lot of fun and there was something approaching a story line that kept you engaged.
But this one: I'm not sure who is responsible but both Russell Crowe and Tom Cruise should avoid using this film as part of their legacy. The plot was silly, or at least what there was of one, and the ending was just as bad.
I saw this one at home, and although I couldn't give myself a refund, it did remind me to check the ratings before I sit down in front of my television. Time is too precious to waste on stuff like this.
