For a movie called "The Mummy", its most interesting parts, or at least the segments where you haven't figured out exactly where the films is going, almost all take place before the mummy even arrives.
Princess Amentept-whats-it seems more like a side piece strategically placed to direct our attetion at Cruise who, indeed, is almost always the focus of his films. But hey, that's why we love him.
You won't walk out with much to say but it was entertaining none-the-less and hey, have Cruise films ever marketed anything different?
