Review of The Mummy (2017) by Melissa S — 22 Jun 2017

This movie had so much potential, but the way they hyped up tom cruise being in it ruined it. He was ok in it, but Sofia boutella was amazing. I felt her when she got angry, and I actually ended up rooting for her in the end.

She literally got no credit for her good acting, but tom cruise was given the spotlight. Production companies need to know that we don't care about an A star celebrity as long as we can feel the actor play the character well then it's good.

That's what Sofia did (who literally started acting like 4 years ago), and what tom didn't. I'm only giving it 3 stars for boutella because she wasn't as experienced as cruise yet acted extremely better than him.

Movie was ass but the villain was amazing.
