Nowhere near as bad as the rating suggests. I think I enjoyed this as much as the last Mummy films and I am looking forward to more in the Dark Universe. It isn't high brow of course but it keeps the action and a few jumps coming.
As always, Tom Cruise is watchable even if he won't win an Oscar on the back of it. Like the Jack Reacher films this deserves a bigger box office than it is getting.
