The typical 90s action-adventure, with Brendan Fraser as the poundshop Leo DiCaprio. From the outset, you can tell The Mummy isn't going to take itself too seriously; and while a scarce handful of the jokes might work, its attempts at being frightening or exciting just don't, thanks to the unintentionally comic appearance of the bug-eyed mummy.
Overall, it's far too long and not interesting.
