A lot of fun. The Mummy remake drops most of the horror element in favor of a more fantasy adventure style. This movie draws more inspiration from the Indiana Jones franchise than the old Universal Monster movies.
..and that's actually a good thing. The movie is good action adventure fun, with a bit of horror mixed in for good measure. The cast is strong, and the story actually (in my opinion) works better than the original Universal film.
