The plot holes might be a lot to go unnoticed but there's no denying that The Mummy is a very funny, superbly paced, entertaining & enjoyable horror comedy flick at the turn of the millennium. The humour is used cleverly, the horror elements are nicely filmed & with its lighthearted direction, stunning visual effects & fair enough performances, although sluggish sometimes, makes The Mummy a flick made to sit back & enjoy.
