Review of The Mummy (1999) by Tiffany G — 15 Apr 2016

This is my favorite movie of all time. The story line was spot on. Now I know this was a remake of an original but I feed that for the time in it was filmed the actors were spectacular and the special affects were fabulous. It was really brought to life and you really learned to love egypt and the characters so much which is why they made the second film. I will not go into the 3rd movie because it did not contain all the original cast and I felt they were really grasping for straws. However I will say they they are in current production of another reboot for this movie and I will say I am horrified at the hack job they will make of it. Tom cruise is not a suitable fit for this film and I feel once again they are grasping for staws. This is a prime example of the film industry running out of original ideas and ruining a favorite for many.

As a movie lover and number 1 fan of this version of the movie I urge you to watch this and fall in love with it as I did.
