Review of The Mudge Boy (2003) by Katie L — 03 Feb 2008
It's a bit diffucult to think that Scotty Smalls grew up to do such bad things to another guy... Really sad, disturbing film about not being able to fit in with your peer group because of a death in the family as well as trying to figure out your own identity while living so far away from any semblance of a town.
Emile Hirsch has made many interesting character choices in the last 6 years - it's good to see that he's not afraid of playing someone like Duncan Mudge.
