It's not the smartest or most cunning movie around, especially when dealing with an already cliche premise, however The Mountain Between Us is still a joy to watch and it's hard to look away. Elba and Winslet have solid chemistry and the human spirit shines through in many scenes.
I was not expecting to like it much as I did. (3/5).
