Review of The Mountain Between Us (2017) by Sabine D — 08 Oct 2017
When I first saw the trailer I thought this looks really interesting. Then I saw the reviews which were not great but I thought I like Kate Winslet and Idris Elba so what's not to like. Also most of the time I enjoy movies that are slated by critics so I like to make up my own mind.
Well I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was beautifully shot and I felt for the characters and what they had to go through and I was routing for them. So the ending was maybe a bit cheesy but hey it was what I wanted and I enjoyed it.
Was the romance far fetched? I'd say no, it could happen when your thrown into such a situation and need to work together to survive. It is a great popcorn movie. And both characters put in a great performance.
