Review of The Motorcycle Diaries (2004) by Joey N — 27 May 2009
This movie is not without its flaws, but it tells an important story. Passionate, inspirational, and stirring. Gael Garcia Bernal is one of the best actors of his generation, for sure. He really shows his range in this film.
He doesn't press any emotion too hard and has a magnetic presence. I think Ebert is right in saying he doesn't have much chemistry with Rodrigo De La Serna, but he does a good job in his own right.
