Review of The Motorcycle Diaries (2004) by Andrew C — 04 Aug 2009
Even though it took me forever to get through the film because it is in spanish and I had to back track every now and again to catch all of the dialog; I rather liked this movie about two men, Ernesto and Alberto, who set off on an adventure across South America in the 1950's that changes their lives.
For Alberto at age 29 during the trip, it made him grow up and think of his future; but for Ernesto, who was only a semester away from becoming a doctor, it opened his eyes to the harsh realities of the world he lived in causing him to change his vocation in hopes of doing some good.
