Review of The Motorcycle Diaries (2004) by Thom M — 22 Oct 2010
Another great performance by Gael Bernal. A humbling and thrilling adventure that shows the trials of the human spirit. This film demands we as human beings ask ourselves are we making the right choices? How many are willing to stand up for change.
History is rooted in suffering but more than focus on politics this film of a pre Che concentrates on a more central and diverse message, just helping others. A journey of self discovery(I'm a sucker for traveling movies, good ones at that) with great tone and narrative, I've waited quite some time to see Motorcycle Diaries.
This moving, touching and oftentimes humorous piece is definitely worth checking out.
