Review of The Motorcycle Diaries (2004) by Jonathan G — 05 Jan 2011
Until my recent trip to South America, I had never heard of The Motorcycle Diaries. This movie is the Patch Adams film of the South America. It's based on the true life adventure of Ernesto Guevara (also known as the legendary, Che) and his friend Alberto Granado.
This movie has it all: adventure, romance, comedy, social consciousness, and a lot of heart. Definitely worth a rental. Yes, it's in Spanish, but it's not tough to follow with subtitles. Do yourself a favour.
This past fall I visited many of the streets they went through while in Peru.
