Review of The Mothman Prophecies (2002) by Michael H — 28 Feb 2013
Many people hated this film, naturally because the film is based on actual facts, and is made into a mystery of trying to find out what is haunting a town in West Virginia.
Richard Gere is on a darkened quest on trying to land an explanation on a supposed spirit/ phenomenon if you will, finding and compiling traces of a mindful terror known as the Mothman! The movie is more based on what exactly is happening to certain people, and trying to figure out why this phenomenon is going on.
I thought the film was a great, eerie mystery, and the ride of the film kept me intrigued. People expected this to be more, from a certain standpoint, but this is not the case. So, if you feel this is a mystery for you, by all means, if you haven't seen it, it's worth watching.
