One of the best horror movies of all time. And it was the first time that a horror movie has scared me beyond belief. With its dark sense of foreboding and its long, drawn out scenes, its makes for very effective viewing.
And if the film can't bring back those scary memories that you had as a child, then wait till you see the documentary on the dvd special features. Very scary and one of the best constructed horror films ever.
