Review of The Mothman Prophecies (2002) by Quynh D — 16 May 2009
Two things I like about this film. One, it is based on a book, which is based on true events, and that makes it kinda creepy. Two, some of the scenes are creepy, which involves the Mothman.
But other than that, I don't think this is a standout in the horror/thriller genre. Maybe because of Richard Gere. Maybe not. I still feel something is missing in the film. A closure? Explanations? Answers? This film poses more questions than it answers. Maybe that's the whole point of the movie.
