Review of The Mosquito Coast (1986) by Laney C — 29 Jun 2008
This film is very interesting for the reason that Harrison Ford is a crazy genius who takes his family (Helen Mirren as his wife and River Phoenix among his children) from the USA and tries to create a "new world" amongst the natives along the Mosquito coast.
It's not really fast and action-packed but then again, it's nice seeing Harrison Ford as something other than an action hero. It is a great commentary on human nature and the struggle to survive.
