Review of The Mosquito Coast (1986) by Alex Z — 14 Feb 2010
This movie really made you think about things. Harrison Ford was stupendous and played an awesome role of a scientist whom is fed up with society and wants to go to Central America to live a life of simplicity.
What happens is that he becomes somewhat corrupted and goes crazy. The story was great and worked its way up a bit. It started off slow but got quite enjoyable once he goes nuts. The main theme in this movie is that he is never satisfied no matter what.
A great movie that has some great elements and a superb theme.
