Review of The Mosquito Coast (1986) by Ryan V — 17 Dec 2011
Harrison Ford will be remembered for the rest of his life and beyond as Han Solo and Indiana Jones. But his best performance is right here in another underrated piece of film by Peter Weir. He plays a character so independent, so opinionated and flat out brilliant that its nearly impossible to like him.
Some people will be turned off by that but its a fantastically written character. It comes as no surprise that this obsessive is written by the master Paul Schrader.
