Review of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013) by Fred S — 20 Dec 2013
Way over dramatic. No time spent on character development, to elicit the emotional response their over played slow scenes, and music call for. You never build enough interest in either of her twilight boy toys to be drawn into the romantic struggle.
I almost turned the movie off. Kept hoping for something original, which never developed.
