I'm a big fan of the books so I expected so much onto the first film. In the movie there are werewolves and vampires that we see in most movies. But it is nice to see something new on the screen such as people have runes on their body (Shadowhunters) and demons which Shadowhunters kill to protect Mundanes (Someone from a human world/Normal people/Us).
Overall, the movie great but if you read the book you will be disappointed after watching the film. But, I'm reviewing the movie not comparing them to the book. So, 4/5 for the movie but the book is 3x better.
