SPLOILERS! Having read the book series I was unbelievably excited for the film... Only to be unbelievably disappointed. It's one thing to change a book slightly so that it works as a film however this film changes EVERYTHING.
The book has Luke much earlier, the Valentine vs Clary scene goes nothing like the way it was in the film and Jace recognises his father on site, he just hadn't realised he was Valentine. I can't believe what a mess they made of an amazing book.
It was appalling.
