Review of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013) by Revron — 30 Dec 2013
Yep, this movie was not meant for me. I guess if you think Bella and Edward are dynamic characters with rich backgrounds and their romance is a whirlwind event, you might enjoy this latest dash to cash in on “Twilight” with another tween book franchise.
The film is a complete mess of bad acting, uninteresting characters, weak action, a weaker plot and a story that feels the need to stuff itself with every single fantasy film cliché you can think of.
Unless you’re a part of the target audience (tweens), this movie is just a forgettable piece of unimaginative nothingness.
