I would have never gone to see this if I weren't a fan of the TMI book series. Quite a few parts were changed for this adaptation that worked well and some were just WTF. Like Clary's hair....how hard is it to make her hair the right color or Valentine's hair correct? Come on now.
Despite its shortcomings, I did enjoy seeing it on the big screen. Hopefully the films will improve as they go along?
