Review of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013) by Donna M — 21 Jan 2014
Most books are better than the movie that's why we read them but I enjoyed this one immensely and have watched numerous times. It's the acting (Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower - totally born to play the roles of Clary and Jace and their chemistry and also the well chosen Alec and Simon - all of them!!!!!) that sets this apart from Twilight for which I am a fan but no comparison.
I have read 3 books so far the 3rd in 24 hrs so eagerly awaiting the next movie. Well done Cassandra Clare I'm 49 and loving this new teen novel.
