Review of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013) by Adam N — 18 Apr 2014
Manages to draw on ideas and scenes from several decades of fantasy cinema without a fraction of the interest or excitement of any of it's reference points. From Star Wars to Twilight via The Matrix this film plunders ideas infinitely better executed elsewhere.
Over 2 hours of your life you can never get back. Avoid.
