Review of The Monuments Men (2014) by Alex C — 26 May 2014
A valiant attempt by Clooney and certainly an important message, but does end up as a bit repetitive - not to mention predictable. Let's face it, as soon as the film started you knew how it would end - with a few exceptions, such as the fairly unauthentic deaths of two of the monuments men.
Blanchett's accent needs a little work and Damon's was hilarious, hopefully intentionally. A bit too Hollywood and little bit too unauthentic.
