Review of The Monuments Men (2014) by Brent T — 29 May 2014
The point of this movie was education and not entertainment. But this is an entertaining way to learn. Well acted. Respectful to real people; a homage to bravery and an intelligent endeavor. Reading the RT critics it's clear they wanted some CGI enriched Allies versus Nazis war epic of some sort.
There are plenty of those. This was something new; something fresh.
