Review of The Monuments Men (2014) by Richard B — 22 Jun 2014

Yea, so everyone has been pretty right about this. I've fairly enjoyed most of George Clooney's films as a director and loved Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, but I saw poor reviews for this and heard the same from people,but somehow still had hope.

But the film is pretty disappointing, mainly just because it is so average. There are a few scenes that should be awesome except I wasn't connected to the characters that much and those 2 scenes in particular seemed forced.

Also I know I couldn't be the only one who felt the making of the team was exactly like Ocean's 11. Overall it's still not a bad film, but it's just so okay at best that it was a disappointment due to all the talent involved.
