Review of The Monuments Men (2014) by Nathan H — 14 Sep 2014
The movies light tone makes you wonder how closely the film follows actual history, but at the end of the day, this a piece of entertainment not a documentary. Since entertainment is the goal, this film is a success.
The actors all give strong performances. They cover a wide range of emotions, although some characters are simply there for comic relief. The plot is interesting, although at times is seems like a collection of scenes with a limited through story (save the art, of course).
