Review of The Monuments Men (2014) by Martin K — 22 Nov 2014
I thought that it was just a bad screenplay taken to the big screen. But then I read the book (or tried to read the book). The fact is that there were so many Monuments Men and each one of their stories were uniquely fascinating.
This movie tried to do too much. Instead of making it believable, the directors over-hyped it with big screen stars, all vying for top billing and ended up making the story appear as if Indiana Jones himself were directing it.
