Passable on the shoulders of a likeable cast rather than a good screenplay or stellar filmmaking, Monuments Men makes you wonder how much true art guys like Clooney and Damon really know about. (If you're thinking about Bill Murray and John Goodman rather than the characters they're supposed to be playing, that doesn't bode well for the artistic merit of the project.).
Cate Blanchett is sublime as always.
