Review of The Monuments Men (2014) by Thequietgamer — 29 May 2014

While it's great to see this true WWII story being given attention, I just wish it was done in a more interesting way. There's a great cast here, but the story isn't filled with enough humor or action to become compelling.

Instead it's almost two-hour running time feels uneventful and largely boring outside of a few high points. I can definitely see history buffs getting enjoyment out of this, but those less interested in the history and more interested in humor or action will be left largely bored.

Heck, even the history buffs might have a problem how dull the majority of the film is.
