The ULTIMATE cult movie. I was a huge fan of this movie as a kid, and it was kinda special because no one else knew about it. The Hollywood Video near my house just so happened to have it, even though it's somewhat obscure.
There's some really silly things in it, like Dracula's penchant for explosives, but it just adds to the charm of the movie. It's pretty edgy and even violent in parts, but I think it's a great movie for kids to watch. It's a neat way to introduce them to all the classic monsters.
Tom Noonan makes for a pretty iconic Frankenstein. Another neat thing is this was the first script written by Shane Black, who would go on to write Lethal Weapon and later write and direct "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang". He's now on his way to direct Iron Man 3, so he brings a certain pedigree to this movie. It's a must see.
