It is a great movie that looks better than every monster movie ever made with CG. I mean, this movie still looks DAMN good. Monster Squad doesn't take itself too seriously, so the viewer feels like they are always laughing with the film.
More to the point, it is made for people who love the classic monster films. Silly? Yes. Cheesy? Most certainly. A lot of fun? You bet your sweet ass.
