Review of The Monster Squad (1987) by The Captain — 27 Jul 2008
How you could be a child of the eighties and not completely love this movie to death is...well...ridiculous! Some may see it as a rip-off of THE GOONIES, and to an extent, they are right. However, it's one of those fond childhood films that you love so much, you don't care how cheesy it is.
Just sit back and enjoy it for what it is - an incredibly fun, nostalgic, popcorn flick.
