My cousin's step-grandparents recorded tons of films off cable and when we were little, we would always get the tape with this film on it and watch it. This film is WONDERFUL for kids, and still a LOT of fun for adults.
It manages to be scary and funny at the same time, while it doesn't patronize to kids and does a lot with a small budget and brief running time. Plus, Andre Gower and Ryan Lambert were little hotties! :D I was thrilled to find the 20th Anniversary DVD edition.
A genre classic to me, especially the kid in me!
