With an emotional heft scarcely found in modern monster flicks, this is a welcome throwback to a bygone era. It's foggy shades of black and grey are a stylistic wonderland for a horror aficionado and it's delightful devilish monster is second only to our complex, three dimensional heroines.
It earns its scares, it earns its tension and its gore. Monsters are real, and there's one inside each of us!
